16 Day All of Cam Slam

Day 1: Arrive in Douala

Land in Douala. Check into a hotel and rest. Overnight in Douala.

Day 2: Douala to Limbé & Buea 

Explore Douala’s markets. Drive to Limbé for the Wildlife Centre and Botanical Gardens. Continue to Buea. Overnight in Buea.

Day 3: Buea to Mount Cameroon Refuge

Trek up Mount Cameroon to the first refuge. Overnight in camp.

Day 4: Mount Cameroon Summit

Climb to the summit of Mount Cameroon. Descend to the second refuge. Overnight in the camp.

Day 5: Buea to Douala

Trek down to Buea. Return to Douala. Overnight in Douala.

Day 6: Douala to Yaoundé, Night Train  

Travel to Yaoundé. Visit the National Museum. Take an overnight train to Ngaoundéré.

Day 7: Ngaoundéré Exploration

Arrive in Ngaoundéré. Visit the Lamidat, Lac Tison, Vina Waterfalls, and a local ranch. Overnight at the Ranch Lodge.

Day 8: Ngaoundéré to Poli  

Visit a village of 12 tribes. Continue to Poli. Overnight in Poli.

Day 9: Poli & Tribal Visits

Meet the Dupa, Namdji, and Mbororo tribes. Overnight in Poli.

Day 10: Poli to Mount Alantika

Travel to Wangai. Trek to Mount Alantika and camp at a Koma tribe site.

Day 11: Koma Tribe Experience 

Spend the day with the Koma tribe, joining their dances. Overnight camping.

Day 12: Alantika to Garoua 

Trek back to Wangai. Drive through Poli to Garoua. Overnight in Garoua.

Day 13: Garoua to Yaoundé  

Fly from Garoua to Yaoundé via Camair-Co. Overnight in Yaoundé.

Day 14: Yaoundé to Somolomo 

Travel to Somolomo. Camp in the Dja Faunal Reserve with the Baka Pygmies.

Day 15: Baka Pygmy Activities

Join the Baka for hunting, harvesting, hut-building, and dances. Overnight camping.

Day 16: Somolomo to Yaoundé, Departure 

Return to Yaoundé. Free time before your flight home.
