This tour will enable you to study the rich culture and traditions of the Bamileke and Bamoun tribes. You will also have the opportunity to hike on the mystical Mbapit Mountain (about 2.000 meters) and visit the sacred crater lac of mount Mbapit. Here you will discover the green slopes of the mountains, the Bororo shepherds, and the gorgeous lava flows.

Over the course of three days, you will also visit the city of Foumban and its Sultanate, the city of Bafoussam -  headquarters of the West Region, and the attractive Métché Waterfalls before driving back to Yaoundé.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Yaoundé- Bafoussam- Bandjoun

This morning you will be picked up from your desired location in Yaound. Today we will drive from Yaoundé to Ebepda. Along the way, we will stop at the Sanaga Bridge and admire the locals hard at work extracting sand from the river. From here, we will continue o to Batoufam where we will visit the Chief Palace. Here, we will enjoy a visit with the King before we head off to Bandjoun.

Overnight at “Centre climatique de Bandjoun”.

Day 2: Bandjoun- Lac Mbapit- Foumban

This morning after breakfast, we will begin the drive to Foumbot for some trekking and a lovely visit the to the "mystical' lake of Mbapit. Next, we will keep going to Foumban to explore and learn about the incredible culture of the Bamoun people. 

Dinner and overnight at Baba hotel.

Day 3: Bafoussam - Métché Waterfalls - Yaounde

This morning after breakfast, we will begin our journey to Bafoussam. Here we will visit the city and take in the Metche Waterfalls, our final stop of the tour. 

From here we will make our way back to Yaounde where you will be dropped off at your accommodation in the city.
